SAMARKAND - BUKHARA

Day 1, Tuesday, Moscow - Samarkand (Air HY-606)
Flight from Moscow at 02:35 arrival to Samarkand at 08:25. Upon arrive meeting with guide and transfer to hotel "President" for accommodation.
One of the best hotels of Samarkand. Hotel is located near statue of Timur Great and Oppose direction of mausoleum of Gur-Emir. Hotel has 165 good equipped rooms: Air-condition, bathrooms, satellite TV, telephone, mini-bar, hair dryer in each room.
Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast start excursion:
Afrasiab Museum – each hall of the museum contains exhibits of some certain period of history of Afrasiab.
There is also a hall with remarkable ancient wall paintings special lightening, archaeological sights.
Ulugbek’s Observatory (XV c) – 1st observatory in orient with 30m sextant built by Ulugbek to make exact astronomical catalogue.
Shahi Zinda Mausoleum (XIV – XV c) – “Town of Dead” a complex of more than 20 unique buildings of different ages.
Bibi Khanum mosque (XIVc), built by Timur to be biggest mosque at time. Architect, craftsmen & painters built it in 5 years.
Registan square (XV–XVII c) - official center of Timurs Empire, consist of grandiose madrasahs of Ulugbek, Sher Dor & Tillya Kari.
Gur Amir Mausoleum (XV c) Timurids dynastic burial vault. A unique monument of architecture with blue ribbed tessellated dome.
Siab Bazaar.

Day 2, Wednesday, Samarkand - Bukhara (280 km)
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Bukhara. Upon arrival accommodation at hotel "Asia Bukhara".
Bukhara – this is one of the best places in Central Asia which was as capital of Samanid state in the 9th and 10th centuries that called “Bukhoro-i Sharif” Boasting a different mosque for every day of the year, drawing the finest minds of the East with its cultural and commercial vitality, the city well deserved the title "Bukhara the Holy".
New hotel "Asia Bukhara" located in the heart of the Old City surrounded with monuments of 12-16 centuries.
Hotel has 96 well equipped rooms: air-condition, bathrooms, satellite TV, telephone, mini-bar, hair dryer in each room.
Rest near tea house "Lyabi Hauz".
Sightseeing’s of Bukhara:
ARK Fortress (VI – XIX c) – in Middle Ages it was a whole town with the emirs house, with wives, mosques mint place, government institutes, store rooms,
a prison and a square for public executions.
Dinner with Bukharian folklore show.

Day 3, Thursday, Bukhara
Breakfast at hotel. Sightseeing’s of Bukhara:
Bolo Khauz Mosque (XVIII c) Mosque near the Pool,
Samanid’s mausoleum (IX – X c) – it was the first building in Central Asia constructed from backed bricks
in the shape of a cube covered by a dome with unrepeatable geometrical brickwork design – a masterpiece of world architecture
Chashma Ayub Mausoleum – the original construction dates from the 12th century rule of Karakhanid Arslan Khan, the earliest surviving dome was raised by Amir Temur in 1380 over the existing tomb chamber.
Ulugbek Madrassah 1417 was the earliest of three commissioned by the enlightened Timurid ruler
(The other two stand in Samarkand and Gijduvan) and his secular influence dominates the exterior design of the religious college.
Abdul Aziz Khan Madrassah (1652), glittering in mercifully not restored 17th century glory.
Poikalon (XII – XVI c) architectural ensemble in the center of old Bukhara – includes: the cathedral mosque “Masjidi Kalon”, “Miri Arab” madrasah,and the highest minaret (46 m) at that time in the Orient.
Trading Domes consists of three trading centers: Tok-i-Zargaron (1570) – Jeweler’s Bazaar, Tok-i-Tilpak Furushon – Cap Maker’s Bazaar, Tok-i-Sarrafon – Moneychanger’s Bazaar.
Lyabi – Haus (XVI – XVII c) – a complex with Nodir – Devon Begi madrasahs big pool surrounded by trees
Dinner at local restaurant.

Day 4, Friday, Bukhara - Moscow (HY-607 air)
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to international airport for flight by HY-607 at 09:50-12:00.
