Day 1, Tashkent - Samarkand (300 km)
Arrive Tashkent. Transfer to hotel. Accomodation.
PM. Lunch at local restaurant.
Departure to Samarkand. Arrive and accomodation in hotel.
Dinner at local restaurant.
O/n at hotel.
Day 2, Samarkand - Djizzak - Farish - Aydarkul - Tuzkan - Uhum village in Nurata mountains (290 km)
AM. Breakfast. Departure to Uhum via Djizzak - Farish - Aydar lake - Tuzkan lake.
PM. Lunch pick-nick at Aydar lake.
The Aydarkul and Tuzkan lakes are the biggest habitats in the region and important breeding,
resting and wintering area for more than a hundred types of birds. Eleven of them are listed in the
Red Data Book of the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN):
Dalmatian Pelican (Pelecanus crispus), Little Cormorant (Phalacrocoraõ pygmaeus), Red-Breasted Goose (Rufibrenta ruficollis), Lesser White-fronted Goose (Anser erytropus), Ferruginous Duck (Aythya nyroca), Pallid Harrier (Circus macrourus), Imperial Eagle (Aquila heIiàña), Pallas' Sea Eagle (Haliaetus leucoryphus),
White-tailed Sea Eagle (Haliaetus albicilla), Black Vulture (Aegypius monachus) and Sociable Plover (Chettusia gregaria).
Birdwatching till sunset time.
Continue drive to Uhum village.

Night time you have possibility to hear sounds of night birds.

Day 3, Uhum village - Khayat village in Nurata mountains (5 km)
AM. Breakfast.
Walking tour in the around and making the acquaintance of local people and their life in this village.
Visit the silk worm breeder, and see how they care for silkworm and how they prepare silk (Season: April-May-Beginning of June)
The same time you have possibility to see various types of birds:
as Black Stork (Ciconia nigra), Lammergeyer (Gypaetus barbatus), Eurasian Griffon (Gyps fulvus),
Black Vulture (Aegypius monachus), Egyptian Vulture (Neophron percnopterus), Golden eagle (Aquila chrysaetos), Saker falcon (Falco cherrug), Lesser kestrel (Falco naumanni), Little Swift (Apus affinus),
Eurasian Crag-Martin (Ptyonoprogne rupestris), Rock Thrush (Monticola saxatilis), Blue Rock Thrush (Monticola solitarius), Chukar (Alectoris chukar) and different wheatears.
PM. Lunch at guest house.
Departure to Khayat village through the pass (1 hour) hiking.
The mountain valleys attract Oriole (Oriolus oriolus), Common Nightingale (Luscinia megarhynchos),
Asian Paradise Flycatcher (Terpsiphone paradisi), Turkestan Tit (Parus bocharensis), Grey-headed Goldfinch (Carduelis caniceps) and many others.

Day 4, Khayat village - Sentyab village in Nurata mountains (10 km)
AM. Breakfast.
Study why the people of Khayat village live more healthy and strong?, why they have very seldom illness in winter?, and to be witness how people make a preparation for winter foodstuffs from the different fruits such as mulberry & apricots already from May (Season: May-June).
The dry mulberry and apricots are more delicious than just riped fruits by Khayat local people.
PM. Lunch at guest house.
Stone marten (Martes foina) and porcupine (Hystrix indica) are typical mammals of this type of ecosystem.
Different types of bats live in caves and niches. In rocky mountainsides and slide-rocks are feeding and resting place for Severtsov wild sheep (Ovis ammon severtzovi).
It is possible to take a pictures.
Departure to Sentyab village by car.

Day 5, Sentyab village - Fazilman lake - Sentyab village in Nurata mountains (21 km)
AM. Breakfast. Full day trekking to Fazilman lake.
Recommended Equipment:
small backpack, jacket, rain cape, mountain boots or sport shoes, mountain stick, thermos, sunglasses, lotion and cap.
Transportation: donkeys.
Distance: 10.5 km 1 way, totally 21 km.
PM. Lunch pick-nick on the top of mountains near Fazilman lake.
The place where you can enjoy with nature, birds and wild horses.
Dinner and o/n at guest house.
Day 6, Sentyab village - Nurata - BUkhara (240 km)
AM. Breakfast.
Sand desert with its herbaceous vegetation is for many species an important breeding place and
in spring and autumn a popular stop over for migratory birds. Birds to be found in this habitat are Great Bustard (Otis tarda), Little Bustard (Otis tetrax), Houbara Bustard (Chlamydotis undulata), Black Vulture (Aegypius monachus) and Black Bellied Sand Grouse (Pterocles orientalis), Every spring thousands of Demoiselle Cranes
(Anthropoides virgo) gather in the steppe. Rare types of reptiles such as giant lizard (Varanus griseus),
Central Asian tortoise (Testudo horsfieldi), Plate-tailed Gecko (Terratoscincus scincus) and Asian Ablepharous
(Ablepharus pannonicus) can be found in the desert.
Departure to Bukhara via Nurata.
Nurata - Once known as Nur, this ancient town was founded in 327 BC by Alexander the Great.
The remains of this military fortress rise up above the town and the water supply system that the Alexander the Great installed is still partially used even today.
The fortress is situated on the south of modern Nurata.

Arrive to Bukhara. Accomodation.

Day 7, Bukhara
AM. Breakfast.

Lyabi – Haus (XVI – XVII c) – a complex with Nodir – Devon Begi medresseh & Honako, Kukeldash medresseh - big pool surrended by trees
Dinner with Bukhara folklore show in medresse Nodir Devon Begi.

Day 8, Bukhara - Tashkent (by train 600 km)
AM. Early breakfast.
Transfer to railstation "Kagan" at 07:00 go to Tashkent.
PM. Arrive Tashkent at 14:50.
Free time.
farewell dinner at resaturant.
